Terms of Service

By using Sideduel ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.

Sideduel is operated by [Entity Name] LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and [Entity Name] LLC.

Sideduel is a peer-to-peer prediction platform for livestream events. Verified streamers create duels with two possible outcomes. Viewers pick a side and back their prediction with USDC on the Solana blockchain. When the streamer resolves the duel, the winning side splits the pool proportionally.

All transactions happen on the Solana blockchain and are irreversible once confirmed.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Sideduel.

You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of Sideduel complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, including any laws related to prediction markets, digital assets, or online entertainment platforms.

Users located in jurisdictions where prediction markets or digital asset transactions are prohibited should not use the Platform. Sideduel reserves the right to implement geo-blocking or restrict access to any region at any time, without prior notice.

Sideduel charges a 10% fee on every duel, deducted from the total pool when the duel is resolved:

• 7% goes to the streamer who created the duel
• 3% goes to the platform

A flat $0.01 USDC fee is deducted from every withdrawal to cover Solana network costs.

Fees may change at any time. We will update these Terms to reflect any changes.

Duel outcomes are determined solely by the streamer who created the duel. Streamers resolve duels manually by selecting the winning option. This is a core part of how Sideduel works.

Sideduel does not arbitrate, review, or override streamer decisions. By placing a prediction on any duel, you accept the streamer's resolution as final. If you don't trust a streamer's judgment, don't participate in their duels.

Sideduel connects to your Solana wallet (e.g. Phantom, Solflare, Backpack) for authentication and transactions. You are responsible for maintaining access to your wallet and securing your account credentials.

Sideduel is not responsible for:

• Lost funds due to user error (sending to the wrong address, etc.)
• Wallet compromise or unauthorized access to your account
• Blockchain failures, network congestion, or failed transactions
• Loss of access to your wallet

Only send USDC on the Solana blockchain. Funds sent on other networks cannot be recovered.

You agree not to:

• Manipulate duel outcomes or collude with streamers
• Create duels with the intent to defraud participants
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to gain an unfair advantage
• Attempt to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the Platform
• Use the Platform for money laundering or any illegal activity
• Impersonate other users or streamers

Violation of these rules may result in permanent suspension from the Platform.

Participating in prediction markets involves risk. You may lose some or all of the USDC you commit to a duel. There is no guarantee of returns.

By using Sideduel, you acknowledge that:

• You understand the risks of participating in prediction markets
• You are solely responsible for your own decisions
• You will only use funds you can afford to lose
• Duel outcomes depend on streamer honesty and judgment
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Entity Name] LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Losses from predictions or duel participation
• Incorrect or disputed duel resolutions by streamers
• Blockchain failures, smart contract bugs, or network issues
• Platform downtime, errors, or technical failures
• Unauthorized access to your wallet or account
• Actions or misconduct of streamers or other users

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Sideduel is provided with no guarantees of uptime, availability, or continuity. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice.

We are not liable for any losses resulting from planned or unplanned downtime, feature changes, or discontinuation of the Platform.

All content, branding, and code on Sideduel are owned by [Entity Name] LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Platform without written permission.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Sideduel at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, any pending predictions or unreleased funds may be affected.
